Audio/PA and Loop system

Our audio/PA and loop system is available free to hall users, subject to our terms and conditions of use.

The system and amplifier s located on the wall  by the large cupboard. Exercise/dance groups can play music from their devices using Bluetooth.

Located on the side of the unit is a white panel with a volume control knob.

Turn the knob clockwise until the BT status light on the unit flashes quickly.

Go to the Bluetooth settings on your device and select Music BT.
If asked for a pairing code please enter “0000“.

When connected the BT status light flashes intermittently.
Leave the volume control at around the ‘twelve o clock’ position and adjust the volume on your device.

IMPORTANT
At the end of your session, please turn of the unit and disconnect your device by clicking ‘Forget this device’.

Loop System

The Loop system in the Millennium Hall broadcasts everything going the through the PA.Therefore, or presentations etc, a microphone will be necessary for transmitting through the loop.

The Dorothy granger Room has an ambient microphone system which will automatically pick up the speakers voice.

Hearing aid users will need to set their aids to the T position.

Microphones.

We have a handheld/stand-mounted microphone and also a headset mic. These are available by arrangement and need to be indicated at the time of booking. Instructions for use are inside the microphone cases. Please make sure they are switched off after use.
